PLEASE HELP WITH ACNE TROUBLES!!!!?

Please help, I've been taking doxycycline (an antibiotic) and atralin (a topical) for a little over 3 weeks now, and I have been breaking out with at least twice as much acne. Also, a skin infection on my cheek won't go away, and people at school keep asking "Did you get punched" and "What happened" because it is really black and nasty looking. In addition, I would really appreciate it if no one suggested to see the dermatolagist because everytime I call he says "Oh, just give it time." Anyways, thanks to everyone in advance for helping me during this stressful situation!!!
