My horse wont come out of the barn?

lately when i task up my horse and try to bring her out to go to the arena she will walk to the edge of the barn, then theres like a 3 inch drop to cone out of the barn and she stops there and wont step down. i've tried holding a crop behind her as we walk, walking roght next to her, holding the reins right under her chin, everything i can think of and she still stops and needs to be persuaded to step down. shes fine going out to the paddock and coming out of the barn to graze or anything. do you think shes jist bored and doesnt wanna be ridden? also another question if you feel like answering: she has had sore feet it seems lately, like if she steps on a stone or something she trips and like shoots her head down like shes in pain. she also does this walking on gravel and steep hills? what could cause this? she is in a rocky paddock thats on a slope abd she stomps a lot to get flies off.. could that make her feet sore? thanks & sorry this is so long!!
