What to do when someone tries to get you in trouble?

First off at school I was walking down the hallway, and I kicked someone's locker (Not intentionally) but it wasn't really a kick I basically just pushed the guy's locker with my foot and it completely collapsed on the bottom of the floor, then this kid went to the office and told on my saying that I have kicked his locker and I should pay 100 dollars for the damage, the locker is made out wood not metal and has been around there for over 10years I think, It is blasphemy. I expect it to be just a good sunny day and that kid has ruined it for me. I don't know what to do now and it has been bothering me lately, and I would greatly appreciate if someone could come up with a solution to my situation.
