Why are my impatiens not blooming?

Every year I plant impatiens in the same spot with part shade/part sun. Every year they are magnificent with beautiful flowers. This year, however, they are growing like crazy but don't have many flowers and are more green leaves than flowers. I'm watering and fertilizing like I usually do. What causes less blooms?
