Are you happy with your child's school's Ofsted report?

I am moving my child (5) in September to our local Church of England school...when I first applied for a place the Ofsted was ok...not outstanding but generally good...now I just had another look and it has gone downhill since 2007...there has been a high turnover of staff and writing and maths are not great throughout the school...there was also mention of a small minority of disruptive pupils which Ofsted say is now sorted out. I don't know what to think..when I have visited it seemed nice...if a little bit disorganised...I'm at a loss...at the moment she is in a private school..which is VERY small and one reason to move her was that there are as few as 4 and 5 kids in some year groups...that seems too small...and also unrealistic...high school will be a shock...not to mention the high fees....I feel at a loss as I have no experience of State schools till now...are you happy with your schools Ofsted and how much influence can a parent have?
